I spent over a decade in the motor trade, most recently working in sales at BMW Teesside. Over those ten years, I had the privilege of handing over the keys to hundreds of dream cars. But my time on the showroom floor also exposed me to a rapidly growing, heartbreaking reality: the modern vehicle theft epidemic sweeping across the UK.

Why Ghost Retrofits exists.
The idea for Ghost Retrofits started after I handed a stunning, high-spec car over to a customer who had saved for years. It was a proud, emotional day. Less than a fortnight later, that same customer walked back through the dealership doors, completely devastated. Their pride and joy had been stolen from their driveway in under 60 seconds using keyless relay cloning.
Seeing that violation and helplessness hit me hard. It made me realise that standard manufacturer security simply isn't enough anymore. I decided to step away from dealership sales and dedicate my expertise to protecting these vehicles, so owners never have to go through the same heartbreak.
